Vintage chandeliers - Looking for a vintage chandelier in the thicket of over priced antiques gets you thinking about what a vintage pendant really is. Does a chandelier that someone's grandmother stuffed into a trunk in the attic unscathed for 30 years relegate the fixture to valuable antique status. Or is it an antique chandelier like a true signed Robert Louis Comfort Tiffany chandelier that gains true vintage notoriety.

Well all things relative, know what vintage pendant you're buying and how much it's worth before spending a petty fortune. That said there are many great vintage/antique chandeliers around. You can find vintage electric chandeliers pretty much as far back as the early 1900; much older though, you'd be hard pressed to find electric models.

Alas! Now you can bring back the good old days with an antique reproduction light fixture that includes new parts and everything. You can find Tiffany, Georgian Edwardian, Victorian 1950's fixtures and much more at a well stocked local lighting store, or online. A lot of major brands include traditional and vintage style chandeliers in their collections.
